建造與堅固

 

感謝神！使我們所能做的全然出自神的恩典。北區月聚會主要是為連結各醫院的護理人員，期待以生命故事的分享，讓護理前輩們的生命見證能激勵後起之輩，以生命影響生命帶出愛的傳承，堅固在職場上的年輕護理人員，並陪伴他們找到自己的護理路，認識自己在神創作中的價值！

 

長庚醫院非基督教醫院，未設院牧部門，然而，神卻藉社團將護福引進祂的策略中；使用退修護理主管，興起服事的團隊，關懷基層護理人員。從新進護理人員座談會的關懷、護理長小組關懷、以致成立護理團契。帶領許多冷淡退後的基督徒護理人員重新回到神的面前，認識護理的價值和神揀選的榮耀位份，在專業與信仰裡，見證神而活出愛！兩年多來，神也感動許多護理人員受洗重生得救，開始有穩定的聚會生活，渴慕神的話語，與神建立親密的關係。

 

擴張與連結

 

署立基隆醫院是因護福一愛主的姊妹，看見醫院政策帶給護理主管的壓力，故期望護福能介入並關心，邀約院內基督徒護理督導及病房護理長，現每二、三個月在護理站會議室有護福小組，一起敬拜、分享神的話語並禱告。

 

中壢壢新醫院的院長室高專是有護理背景的姊妹，故與之連結，每三個月在壢新醫院有護福小組，一起見證並分享神的話語；且邀約高專至林口長庚醫院護理團契分享，就近距離可以互為鼓勵並關懷。

 

等候與尋求

 

有位中興醫院外科加護病房的護理姊妹，對職場宣教有熱情，渴望在醫院成立護福小組，但因職場新進人員居多，在適應職場生態中摸索不定，故先轉介護福做一對一關懷。年輕的學妹不免感情交友等問題，我則是以邀約午茶傾聽 或送禮物卡片等表達愛與同理。尚有原先成立的振興醫院小組、台大醫院護福小組待恢復聚會，我們等候上帝的時間，體察尋求父神的心意；留意神所興起的環境和人、事、物⋯。

 

「因為萬物的結局近了。所以，你們要謹慎自守，儆醒禱告。最要緊的是彼此切實相愛，因為愛能遮掩許多的罪。你們要互相款待，不發怨言。各人要照所得的恩賜彼此服事，作神百般恩賜的好管家」（彼前4：7~10）。願護理福音事工，領受好管家的職分，忠於神所託付的，在所得的恩賜裡彼此服事，在切實相愛裡彼此扶持，直到神成就了祂在白衣天使中榮耀的命定和計劃！

 

Introduction of Nurses Evangelical Fellowship of Taiwan – North Region

Building and Strengthening

 

We thank God! For His grace allows us to do what we are doing. The North Region monthly gathering aims

to connect nurses from hospitals in the region and foster an environment where nursing predecessors provide

inspiration to younger generations with their life stories and testimonies. We want to pass down the tradition of

love through this practice and help younger nurses find strength and discover their individual nursing path, as

well as recognize their value in God’s creation.

 

Chang Gung Memorial Hospital is not a Christian hospital, so a chaplaincy service was not set up. However,

God strategically preached His gospel through another nursing community; He called on retired supervisors to

organize a ministry team to support the junior staff. From caring for newcomers at orientations to caring for nursing

team leaders, it eventually led to the establishment of the nurses’ fellowship. Many retired and less involved

Christian nurses were led back to God, recognizing the value of the nursing profession and its glorious service

chosen by God. They were able to experience love through witnessing God in their profession and in their

faith. In the past two years, God has touched the lives of many nurses. They were baptized, started attending the

meetings regularly, and were longing for God’s words and establishing a close relationship with God.

 

Expanding and Connecting 

 

One of the sisters from our nurses’ fellowship works at Keelung Hospital. She saw how much pressure

the hospital policy was putting on the nursing administrators, so she invited the nurses’ fellowship to come in

to care for the staff. Now, there is a fellowship gathering at the nursing station meeting room every two or three

months, welcoming all Christian nurse supervisors to worship, share the word of God and pray together.

 

We connected with LiShin (Landseed) Hospital through a Christian nurse with a background in nursing who works as the Senior Specialist for the Director of the hospital. This relation helped establish the nurses’ fellowship at the LiShin Hospital to share testimonies and the word of God. We also invited the Senior Specialist to join us at the fellowship at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital so we can encourage and care for each other more closely.

 

Waiting and Searching

 

One of nurses who works in the ICU at Zhongxing Hospital has a passion to make the workplace her mission field and was eager to set up a nursing fellowship in that hospital. That particular unit had more newcomers who were still adjusting to the work environment, so the fellowship referred them for one-on-one care. The younger nurses often had issues with relationships or

friendships, and I expressed my love and empathy by listening to them over afternoon tea or by sending cards

and presents. We are still waiting for God to show us the appropriate time to introduce Christian fellowships at

Cheng Hsin Hospital and NTU Hospital, paying close attention to the rise of the environment, people, incidents

and things by God’s blessing.

 

The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above

all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without

grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s

grace in its various forms (1Peter 4:7-10).

 

Pray that all members of the nurses’ fellowship regularly share the Gospel of Jesus, are faithful to what

God has entrusted them with, serve others with the gifts they have received and support one another in love until

Jesus’s glorious return
