護福希望能藉著結合信仰與護理專業，推動護理的福音事工，今天你我投身護理，不是偶然，而是上帝的揀選，有美好的計劃與命定！神透過「護理」這個工具，在我們的生命中與我們同行，每個人在各種生活與工作場域的角色中結合信仰與護理，活出美好。這幾年參與中區護福聚會，個人歸納中區護福的特色有：
一、愛的團契：吃喝分享，歡喜悲傷，陪伴共行
在中區的護福聚會中，眾姊妹常有美好的分享與歡樂的聚餐，我記錄這些年聚會的內容與大家分享。護福中區聚會曾用歸納式查經方式，以護福研經資料的教材藍本，探討愛、苦難、喜樂、盼望等主題，查經與分享使我個人有美好的收獲，常從姐妹們的經驗中得到激勵，發現主在我們生活周圍開路引領、安排榜樣、賜下話語、鍛鍊堅固並供應預備所需，使我們的生命更豐富。
姊妹們的家人有婚喪喜慶，或生病住院或謀得新職，我們會結伴同行，同哀哭，共喜樂，結伴拜訪醫院或年終感恩歡聚，我們可以分享心事，合作學習，愛的團契，點滴在心頭。
二、 職場中的工作連結與信仰實踐：工作與信仰的融合
在工作的學校裡，基督徒老師們每週有固定的聚會，互相代禱與分享扶持，帶領學生赴教會的老人日間照護中心，參與志工服務學習，一方面符合了學校與教育部的產學合作交流計畫，一方面有機會學習行出愛的榜樣。此外，麗芬老師的研究，人生旅程探討課程，是透過6次靈性懷舊的小組活動，藉由整理過去生命中的感受與現實狀況，引用聖經經文，協助體認生命價值，統整人生，幫助參與者尋找希望與意義。在護福中區聚會時實際操作，訓練姊妹成為帶團體的種子老師，除了在不同的教會中帶領長青團契，也在醫院中進行老人靈性懷舊團體。
三、 教區護理的實踐：教會中健康守護者、醫療宣教的拓展
護福麗屏姐妹決定在教會中發發揮自己的護理專業來關心眾弟兄姐妹的健康，因而被稱為『教會的護理長』，以護理專業來服事教會肢體，活出美好的見證。護理的訓練使個子嬌小、且腿部不方便的碧虹變得勇敢剛強。因著護理的工作中要做屍體照護、以及各種的護理處置，鍛鍊了自己的膽識與能力。
麗屏、碧虹、彩鳳都曾勇敢的參與海外的宣教，遠赴泰國、大陸四川，以自己的專業做偏遠地區的醫療事工，個人生命的量能被神擴張，付出服務他人，擁有自信且快樂。
神藉著護理的訓練，預備我們成為祂可用的器皿，活出風采，個子嬌小、女性、身體活動不方便，都不是問題，只要我們願意在神沒有難成的事！「要擴張你帳幕之地、張大你居所的幔子、不要限止、要放長你的繩子、堅固你的橛子，要向左向右展開」，神擴大了她們生命的境界。
四、文字事功的擺上：藏龍臥虎，個個能寫
中區護福有二位是護福期刊的編輯委員，主編之外邀稿、寫作、催稿，因為需要稿件常常在聚會時分派姊妹寫稿，鼓勵、催逼加上禱告，姊妹們愛主也力挺，紛紛投入寫稿行列，或筆名、或真名，專欄文章、雲彩見證、護福各項大會紀錄文稿，令人感動！神調度萬有，在他沒有難成的事，我有時困惑地看著出刊的護福，不禁讚嘆，主啊！你真偉大！
Introduction of Nurses Evangelical Fellowship of Taiwan – Central Region

Nurses Evangelical Fellowship of Taiwan (NEF) is a group of nurses that promote evangelism through our faith and the nursing profession. We do not become nurses by accident. We are nurses because God has chosen us and God has a good plan for us. He used “nursing” as a tool to accompany us through our life journeys and allow us to experience the meaningfulness of our roles in life and at work. The features of NEF-Central Region are:
1. Fellowship of Love
We often enjoy nice meals and great conversations at our gatherings. For example, we use the inductive method to study the Bible and explore topics on love, suffering, joy and hope. Everyone who participates learns something useful and is inspired by the stories shared by other sisters. We have found that God always leads the way in our lives. He enriches our lives by arranging predecessors to set examples, giving us the gift of His words and providing challenges to prepare and strengthen us.
The sisters support each other during both happy and sad times. We show up together for weddings, funerals, hospital visits or new job celebrations. We are there to share our tears, laughter and thoughts. We bond with love through working and learning together.
2. The Integration of Work and Faith
The university I work for has a weekly meeting for Christian teachers where we pray and support each other. We often take the students to help at the senior day care center affiliated with the church. We do this partly to fulfil the requirement of the school and partly because it provides an opportunity to set examples of love to the students. In addition, Dr. Li-Fen Wu leads spiritual reminiscent group activities where participants can realize the value of life by consolidating real feelings and real situations in the past and explaining them by quoting the Bible. It also helps them to get an overview of their
lives and find hope and meaning from within. At the same time, the Christian nurse coworkers are trained to be leaders so they can lead fellowships for senior citizens in different churches and spiritual reminiscent groups in hospitals. These groups have been receiving tremendous positive feedbacks from participants.
3. Parish Nurse Practice
Mrs. Lin was called the “Head Nurse of the Church” as she decided to employ her nursing knowledge to care for all brothers and sisters in the church. She served as a good testimony by helping members of the church with her nursing expertise. Also, we have three sisters that participated in overseas missions and served as medical volunteers in remote areas. They allowed God to expand their lives and gained confidence and happiness by serving others.
God has prepared us to be His vessels through nursing opportunities. Regardless of our gender, our size or physical strength, nothing can stop us when we decide to take part, for all things are possible with God.
“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes (Isaiah 54: 2)”, God has expanded the realm of our lives.
4. Serving God with Words
Central Region has two Journal of Nurses Evangelical Fellowship editorial board members. They take turns being the editor in chief as well as writing articles and inviting others to contribute to the journal. We also support them by frequently writing column articles, testimonies and helping with assembly record keeping, etc. God operates all things, and there is nothing too hard for Him.
