「祢以恩典為年歲的冠冕，祢的路徑都滴下脂油。」（詩65：11）；神所賜的福是不加上憂慮的，感謝神的恩典，帶領我走過護理五十年，保守看顧我的身心靈得享平安。
讚美中，經歷神的同在
護理主管是被神呼召，與神一起在職場上見證祂榮耀的器皿。天天讚美神，用神的話語讚美祂，神與我們同在，祂的話語堅固我的信心，賜給我亮光。「我要因耶和華歡欣，因救我的上帝喜樂。主耶和華是我的力量，祂使我的腳快如母鹿的蹄，又使我穩行在高處。」（哈3：18-19）我們需要堅心信靠上帝，無論何事臨到，無論周圍環境怎樣改變，神是永不改變的神。主是我的詩歌，是我的拯救，也是我在患難中隨時的幫助。
透過禱告，肢體彼此扶持
「惟有用愛心說誠實話，凡事長進連於元首基督。」（弗4：15）；兩三個人同心在主面前禱告，主與我們同在，肢體彼此扶持，在困難中得著激勵。天天與神和好，生命漸漸成長，活出榮耀的盼望。身為護理部主任，我能做什麼呢？「焉知妳得了王后的位份，不是為現今的機會嗎？」南部地區的七位護理主管，為了培養服事的共識及專業知識上的增長，在護福的協助下，於1994年2月成立了領導小組。藉由每一次聚會，透過神的話語及工作經驗分享，彼此禱告扶持，將信仰落實在護理服事的工作中。
信靠順服，蒙神祝福
「神向我們所懷的意念是賜平安的意念，不是降災禍的意念。」（耶29：11）；上帝定意要賜福我們，然而我們必須先做出選擇，對神做出信心的回應，神就成了我們的祝福。每當我受試煉和痛苦的時候，主耶穌就告訴我恩典夠用；每當我灰心失望、完全無助的時候，只要信祂的恩典是夠我用。靠著愛我們的主，在一切的事上已經得勝有餘了（羅8：37）。順服信靠神，遵守祂的誡命，專心仰賴耶和華，不可倚靠自己的聰明。在你一切所行的事上，都要認定祂，祂必指引你的路。不要自以為有智慧，要敬畏耶和華，遠離惡事，這便醫治你的肚臍，滋潤你的百骨（箴3：3-8）。單單的跟隨主，行在主的旨意中，必享平安，祂要賜福你凡事興盛，身體健壯，正如你的靈魂興盛一樣（約叁：2）。我們需要時時連結在主裡，並且將自己全然都交託給主，並信心依靠祂。
靜中得力
「你們得救在乎歸回安息，你們得力在乎平靜安穩。」（賽30：15）；在服事的旅程中，我們也需要來到神的面前，浸泡在神的愛裡，恢復、更新、從新得力。在安靜中，完全倒空自己，親近神，專心默想神的話，在靜默中覺察自己的內在思想、意念和真實的自我。更重要的是，知道祂是神，更是我們力量的來源。在安靜中我們預備自己聆聽、領受神的旨意，因為神是愛，祂來，為要賜給我們更豐盛的生命。
但願使人有盼望的神，因信將諸般的喜樂、平安充滿你們的心，使你們藉著聖靈的能力大有盼望。
Self-Care for Leaders: Spirit, Soul, and Body

“You crown the year with your bounty, and yourcarts overflow with abundance.” (Psalm 65:11) Theblessing of the Lord adds no trouble. Thanks be to God,in His grace, He has been leading me to serve in thenursing field for about fifty years. Moreover, He looksupon me and keeps me physically, psycho-socially, andspiritually well.
Experience God’s Presence through Praise
Nursing Leaders are called to work with God inthe work place to testify His glory. Praise the Lord everyday, and sing the praise with His words. Jesus is togetherwith us always. His words enlighten and strengthen ourfaith. “I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in Godmy Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makesmy feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go onthe heights.” (Habakkuk 3:9). All we need is to trust inthe Lord entirely, no matter how difficult the situation is.Even the surroundings change, but the faithful Lord neverchanges. Surely God is my song, my salvation and theever-present help in trouble.
Pray and mutual support in Christ
“Speaking the truth in love, we will in all thingsgrow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ.”(Ephesians 4:9) Occasionally, two or three people offersupport to each other by gathering together and prayingwith one heart. In His love and presence, we will bestrengthened. Day by day, we will reconcile with God,grow up gradually and live in His glorious hope eventually.Being a Director of the Nursing Department, whatshall I do though? “And who knows but that you havecome to royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther4:4) Therefore, in order to garner the serving consensusand increase professional knowledge, we, the sevenDirectors of the Nursing Department in hospitals ofsouthern Taiwan, initiated the “Leading Group” in February1994, with the assistance of Nurses EvangelicalFellowship of Taiwan (NEF). Through monthly meeting,we read God’s words, share the working experience, prayand support each other. Through the implementation ofnursing profession and the Faith, we can share our faith,love and hope with others.
Trust, Obey, and be Blessed
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares theLord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you.” (Jeremiah29:11) The Lord plans to bless us and help usprosper. However, we have to make a decision. If wefaithfully respond to Him, we will be blessed. In the verymoment when I was in difficulty and trial, Jesus told methat His grace is sufficient. Every time when was I overwhelmedwith disappointment and frustration, I knewthat just by putting trust in Him, His love would trulycomfort me. “In all these things we are more than conquerorsthrough Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)“Be obedient to His Comments, trust in the Lordwith all your heart and lean not on your own understandings;in all your ways acknowledge Him, and Hewill make your paths right. Do not be wise in your owneyes; fear the Lord and shun veil. This will bring healthto your body and nourishment to your bones.” (Proverbs3:3-8) Simply keep following Jesus and walk in His will.You may enjoy good health and that all may go well withyou, even as your soul is getting along well. (3 John 1-2)All we need to do is live in the Lord always, surrenderourselves in Him entirely and trust Him faithfully.
Strengthened in Rest and Quietness
“In repentance and rest is your salvation; in quietnessand trust is your strength.” (Isaiah 30:15) During thejourney of ministry, we also have to come to the Lord,soak in His love, get refreshed, renewed and strengthened.Thus, we can rest in His presence, and meditate Hiswords. In the divine reflection, we may get the insightof our inner thought and the inspiration from God’s will.More importantly is that we know He is God Almighty,the fountain of life. Undoubtedly, God is love and Hecame to bless and prosper us abundantly.May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace asyou trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope bythe power of the Holy Spirit.
